We have seen numerous gadgets that’s been around for year 2013, more gadgets are becoming mobile, easy to carry around, light and powerful enough that we can compare to desktop computing and its processing power – mobile has taken over desktops.
Here are the predictions:
Netbooks are long gone it’s so 2013 to them – I’ve seen some of them hanging around stores, according some reports, they’re already obsolete or perhaps phase out due to their low processing power and performance, which means they perform too darn slow, the screen is quite small the user can’t see clearly the text on-screen, keyboards won’t fit King Kong’s fingers while doing typing tutor – BANANAS appearing on-screen, netbooks are replaced with thinner and more powerful ultrabooks with longer battery life.
Laptops or notebooks are still in the mainstream computing – they’ll come in thin and lightweight versions similar to ultrabooks and they’ll become affordable too.
Ultrabooks are also in – thin, powerful, portable, decent battery life, but some individuals can’t afford to buy one since they’re quite pricey – we hope manufacturers will bring the price down – it’s a healthy competition.
Smartphones – the market is flowing with these cheap and affordable devices, many of these are China made – remember XIAOMI? the only issue is battery power (drain easily) which is common on android powered smartphones imho, scratch proof, IPS – nothing to worry, android will improve with large battery packs, with responsive on-screen typing with no delays or screen mistyping on qwerty-board – I hope?
iPhone – How about another improved version of A7 processor chip? or A8? nah the next iPhone will be bezel-less? glass-covered transparent touch center.
Tablets – Competition between Apple and Samsung is fierce! the two will still dominate – but beware – they’re cannibalizing their products too much and consumers aren’t sure which one they’ll purchase.
